Leasehold
The right to occupy a portion of a building for a given length of time. i.e. 99 years tenure. Leaseholds generally occurs in buildings that comprise more than one unit such as strata unit.
Freehold
An owner’s interest in land where both the property and the land on which it stands belong to their owner indefinitely. i.e. the outright ownership of a property.
