The municipalities government (Kerajaan Tempatan) of the town, city, or
region at a local level which is managed and supervised by councilors
who appointed by state government is are the most important units of
local government administration. They are responsible for social
services, municipal roads, gardening, sewerage and zoning regulation.
The local government administration receive part of their revenues
through local taxation, fees and local business management, and partly
from allocations from the federal authorities and other public
institutions.
